Care Guide
Expand the life span of our fragrances by following our guide on how to care for candles & diffusers.
Candle Care
How to burn your candle
- Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts or breezes, which can cause sooting and uneven burning.
- Burn for at least two hours at a time., burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', which leaves a build-up of wax around the sides.
- The wicks we use are pro-safety and should self extinguish before reaching the very end, this helps to prevent any potential glass cracking.
Candle Care
How to store your candle
- When your candle isn't in use, store in a cool dry place to reduce the risk of unintentional melting.
- Keep the surface of your candle dust free by simply wiping clean with a dry cloth before lighting.
- Fragrance oils dissapate when unburned, we recommend using your candle in a timely manner to maintain the fragrance.
A Note About
Air Bubbles
Due to the rich nature & generous percentage of fragrance oil within our luxurious candles. You may find small air bubbles appearing between burns. Fortunately, this does not affect the candle’s bouquet or overall lifespan & will dissapate upon the next burn.
Minimise Tunnelling
On the first burn especially, but ideally every burn, ensure you allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the vessel. This will minimise tunnelling and maximise scent distribution.
Trim the Wick
For best results, trim your wick in between burns. This reduces the amount of oxygen reaching the flame causing sooting around the jar. For optimum burn keep the wick around 8mm.
Refill & Reuse
Our glassware is handpainted and a real statement piece. Wash carefully & then reuse with our refillable fragrances for more of the scents you love.
